On August 1st, the revised qualification files (KDs) for the process operator courses level 2, 3 and 4 will be introduced in MBO. The 22 ROCs that offer these courses have worked hard in recent months to give substance to the new educational programs after approval of the KDs by (the Minister of) Education, Culture and Science. There are improvements and tightening up in the areas of digital, sustainability and security/complexity. The MBO education for Process Technology and Industrial processes will therefore be “up to date” again in the coming 6 years, see attached links:

This initiative came about within the “Process industry and laboratories” market segment of the Cooperative Organization for Vocational Education – Business (SBB). SBB is a public-private partnership for curriculum development, practical training and macro-efficiency of MBO courses. The market segment consists of representatives of 6 MBO educational institutions and 6 professional field representatives (process industry and laboratory world). Mbo-kwalificatiedossiers voor Procestechniek en Industriële Processen geüpdatet
Op 1 augustus aanstaande worden de herziene kwalificatiedossiers (KD’s) voor de procesoperatoropleidingen niveau 2, 3 en 4 ingevoerd in het mbo. De 22 ROC’s die deze opleidingen aanbieden hebben de afgelopen maanden, na accordering van de KD’s door (de minister van) OCW, hard gewerkt om invulling te geven aan de nieuwe onderwijsprogramma’s. Er zijn verbeteringen en aanscherpingen op het gebied van digital, duurzaamheid en veiligheid/ complexiteit. Het mbo onderwijs voor Procestechniek en Industriële processen is daarmee de komende 6 jaar weer “bij de tijd”, zie bijgaande links:
