ARC CBBC research into green building blocks for chemistry is growing steadily

Advanced Research Center Chemical Building Blocks Consortium (ARC CBBC) led by Bert Weckhuysen and Ben Feringa will further expand the activities. Research into recycling and the use of small molecules offers enough challenge to give chemistry a green basis, and Feringa is now working on unraveling the chemistry at the cellular level.

Article in short:
– ARC CBBC presents new flagship research for polymer conversion.
– Beyond the focus on recycling and small molecules, unraveling chemistry at the cellular level awaits.
– A broader view on social aspects should increase the chances of success of the energy transition.
