500 million from government and Invest-NL for startups and scale-ups

The government and Invest-NL each want to invest 250 million euros in start-ups and scale-ups. The intention is to divide the amount between three fund initiatives: a fund that frees up more capital for innovative scale-ups (the Dutch Future Fund), a fund initiative aimed at knowledge-intensive start-ups and scale-ups (a Deeptech Fund) and a fund for promotion of alternative financing for growth companies.

The government’s 250 million euros was previously announced by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK) in the August aid and recovery package. At the time, the plan was still to invest 150 million euros in a national scale-up facility.
