Last week Jacqueline Vaessen had the honour to accompany prime minister Mark Rutte on a trade mission to Brasil. Focus of this trade mission was the energy transition and biobased economy.
ChemistryNL has a long tradition with Brasil in joint scientific programming. In this visit we were able to deepen and strengthen existing ties and build new partnerships.
In June we hope to receive approval of our call together with FAPESP on integrated biorefineries. The meetings with companies, universities and government representatives provided promising leads for this call.
MP’s meeting with president Lula showed that Brasil is back on the global stage. We are looking forward to an intensified cooperation with Brasil.
