From customised nutrition to accelerated sustainability in process industry: 20 initiatives for long-term research | NWO

NWO has received 20 public-private initiatives within the call Long-Term Programmes -strategy-driven consortia with impact. Thirty knowledge institutions and 120 companies and organisations will be investing in these ten-year strategic collaborations. The initiatives aim to provide a structural boost for scientific fields on topics from the mission-driven top sectors and innovation policy. NWO has published the initiatives on its website. Interested parties may approach the consortia for possible collaborations.

Each initiative fits within one of the Knowledge and Innovation agendas of this policy: Energy Transition & Sustainability, Health & Care, Agriculture, Water & Food, Safety, Key Enabling Technologies, and Social Earning Capacity. The call Long-Term Programmes: Strategy-driven consortia with impact (LTP) is the third main line (Strategy) in NWO’s contribution to the Knowledge and Innovation Covenant (KIC). This NWO funding instrument focuses on strategic topics that contribute to the mission-driven top sectors and innovation policy.
