The new subsidy round of the MOOI scheme encourages consortia of organizations from different sectors to work together on a mission, with the aim of innovations that reduce CO2 emissions in the Netherlands. Part of the scheme is that the intended innovations have a chance of success in society and that the consortia demonstrate that they invest in properly training people. To emphasize this, the Top Sector Energy encourages the consortia to collaborate with Learning Communities (LCs) or to set up LCs and offers an additional € 1 million in subsidy for this.
Learning Communities connect learning, working and innovation. With LCs, the consortia can bring innovations into practice more quickly, help companies with their innovations, continuously provide students and professionals with the right skills and bring continuity to public-private partnerships. Because LCs ensure that knowledge is translated into skills in a continuous process, professionals can apply this knowledge more quickly and effectively.
The Top Sector Energy calls on all LCs in the Netherlands to join the MOOI consortia. Have you submitted a pre-registration for the MOOI scheme or do you want to join a consortium that is being set up? Then you can submit an additional application – together with this consortium – between June 4 and September 5 to claim this scheme. The application must focus on starting a new LC or further developing an existing LC.

De nieuwe subsidieronde van de MOOI-regeling stimuleert consortia van organisaties uit verschillende sectoren om samen aan een missie te werken, met als doel innovaties die de CO2-uitstoot in Nederland verminderen. Onderdeel van de regeling is dat de beoogde innovaties slaagkans hebben in de maatschappij en dat de consortia laten zien dat zij investeren in het goed opleiden van mensen. Om dit te benadrukken stimuleert de Topsector Energie de consortia samen te werken met Learning Communities (LC’s) danwel LC’s op te zetten en biedt hier € 1 miljoen extra subsidie voor aan.
Learning Communities verbinden leren, werken en innoveren met elkaar. Met LC’s kunnen de consortia de innovaties sneller naar de praktijk brengen, bedrijven helpen met hun innovaties, studenten en professionals voortdurend voorzien in de juiste vaardigheden en continuïteit brengen in publiek-private samenwerkingen. Doordat LC’s in een continu proces ervoor zorgen dat kennis wordt vertaald naar skills, kunnen professionals deze kennis sneller en op een effectieve manier toepassen.
De Topsector Energie roept alle LC’s in Nederland op zich aan te sluiten bij de MOOI-consortia. Heb jij een vooraanmelding gedaan voor de MOOI-regeling of wil je aansluiten bij een consortium die wordt opgezet? Dan kun je tussen 4 juni en 5 september een extra aanvraag – samen met dit consortium – indienen om aanspraak te maken op deze regeling. De aanvraag dient zich te richten op het starten van een nieuwe LC of het door ontwikkelen van een bestaande LC.
