KIEM GoChem 2025 subsidy opened

The KIEM GoChem subsidy for 2025 has officially opened. This scheme, a collaboration between Regieorgaan SIA and ChemistryNL, stimulates innovation in the chemical sector by supporting collaboration between SMEs and knowledge institutions.

Scope of the scheme

Applications within one or more sub-areas:

  • Sustainable chemistry (including circular processes, bio-based raw materials, CO2 reuse)
  • MMIPs 6, 7 and 8 of Mission Industry (Circular carbon, CO2-free energy management, energy system aspects)
  • Chemistry of Life
  • Chemical Sensing & Enabling Technologies

Subsidy conditions

  • Maximum €40,000 subsidy per project. This subsidy is for the knowledge institution
  • Duration: maximum 12 months
  • Consortium: at least one knowledge institution and two practical partners, of which at least one SME
  • Co-financing: at least 25% of the subsidy amount by practical partners
  • Total available budget: almost €1,200,000 (expected 29 allocations)

Important deadlines

There are two collection dates in 2025:

  • First collection date: 8 April 2025 (before 14:00 CEST)
  • Second collection date: 30 September 2025 (before 14:00 CEST, also closing date)

Please note: the scheme applies the principle of “first come, first served”. If the budget is used up, the scheme will close early.
