On October 17, the Top Sector Energy and ChemistryNL are jointly organizing the CCU workshop. Would you like to contribute to the development of a national agenda for Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) in the Netherlands? Then this is your chance!
During this workshop we will use five questions to explore and discuss what our joint vision is for (innovation in) CCU and the industry of the Netherlands in the service of broad prosperity (people, planet, profit) and what actions and investments are needed for realizing this vision. The foundation for the CCU innovation agenda is being laid.
In the program we will answer the following questions together:
- Which ongoing initiatives and projects regarding CCU are currently active in the Netherlands, and who are the most important parties involved?
- What does our joint vision look like on the role of CCU in the sustainable future of the Netherlands? And how can we align this vision with broader social goals?
- What are the economic and environmental benefits of promoting CCU? What risks and challenges do we encounter?
- What are the most important barriers and success factors in the Dutch industrial landscape?
- What actions, investments and partnerships are needed to achieve our vision for CCU?
