Wageningen University & Research, together with Holland Bioplastics and the NRK Federation, is organizing this information session on compostable packaging. The latest insights and developments in compostable products will be presented during this meeting:
- Compostable by Design Platform (CbDP): a broad partnership developing practical design guidelines, a test protocol, and system solutions such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for compostable products.
- Composting: current status of the development of the EN13432 standard.
- Possible policy interventions in the Netherlands: insights from the BioBased Circular packaging project.
