New bioenergy guide puts Dutch expertise on the international map

On October 31, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented the first edition of the International Bioenergy Guide 2025 to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl), Platform Bio-Economie, ChemistryNL, and the Dutch SMEs Torrgas and KARA. This guide showcases the Netherlands’ expertise in bioenergy abroad. The presentation took place at the Port of Rotterdam.

The Netherlands holds a strong international position in biofuel production. We are also a leader in the storage and delivery of biofuels and energy, with deep-sea ports in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Moreover, the Dutch sector is known worldwide for its innovative solutions and close collaboration within the supply chain.
Bioenergy Guide 2025: ‘Creating Value in the Biobased Economy’.

This English-language guide clearly showcases the strength of the Dutch bioenergy sector. It features experiences and solutions the Netherlands offers in the field of bioenergy, the latest developments in the sector, and over 80 company profiles.

The guide is distributed within the Dutch government’s international network. This network consists of Dutch embassies, consulates-general, and trade offices (NBSOs) abroad. They use the guide to promote the Dutch bioenergy sector to potential international business partners.
