Innovation mission CCU and biobased chemistry to Germany

Are you active in innovation and research on CO₂ capture and reuse or upgrading of biomass? With the aim of using sustainable carbon as a raw material for the chemical industry or for climate-friendly fuels? Then the innovation mission ‘CCU and biobased chemistry’ is a great opportunity to make contacts and find out what is happening in these areas in Germany.

The mission will take place from 30 June to 4 July 2025. It starts in Berlin and ends in Oberhausen. Destinations include the chemical park in Leuna, the nova-Institut in Cologne and the Fraunhofer UMSICHT in Oberhausen, where the partners from the Carbon2Chem project will also be present, ThyssenKrupp and the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research. In addition, two networking events will take place in Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia with other German companies and knowledge institutions, as well as representatives of German ministries.
