Innovation demands vision, tremendous patience and perseverance.
Innovation. It almost seems like a magic word. A miracle cure. An instant solution to every problem. Even now, in these corona times, I hear men – yes, they are often men – on television or in the newspaper making decisive statements about innovation that make you feel like it has to be ready tomorrow. Nothing could be farther from the truth. After all, anyone who is really actively innovating knows that innovation requires stamina. And patience, guts, perseverance, teamwork, a long-term commitment and nerve but mostly, it demands vision.
