GroenvermogenNL: Transport and storage of hydrogen
This call is part of the R&D programme GroenvermogenNL, financed by the National Growth Fund. This current Call for proposals concerns NGF: Transport and storage of hydrogen (Phase 1), GroenvermogenNL WP2, and focuses on breakthroughs and innovations with technical and economic potential for large-scale hydrogen transport and storage. Deadline pre-applications: Thursday 8 December 2022, 14:00 CET. Deadline proposal: Tuesday 23 May 2023, 14:00 CET.

Innovation Fund third large-scale call for projects
The European Commission has launched the third call for large-scale projects under the EU Innovation Fund. With a budget doubled to €3 billion thanks to increased revenues from the auctioning of allowances from the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), this call for large-scale projects for 2022 will boost the deployment of industrial solutions to decarbonise Europe. The call will fund projects covering the following topics: General decarbonisation, Innovative electrification in industry and hydrogen, Clean tech manufacturing and Mid-sized pilots. Deadline: 16 March 2023.

Just Transition Fund – EU

The EU is making €58.5 million available to help SMEs and knowledge institutions in West Brabant in their transition to climate-neutral entrepreneurship. The subsidy can be used for projects in the field of labour market, innovation and investments in technology, systems and infrastructure.

NWO KIC call Human Capital: Learning communities as innovation accelerator

Strong human capital in the Netherlands is needed to find answers to current and future societal problems, to tackle challenges and to continue stimulating economic growth. Research in this call focusses on existing, starting or developing learning communities. The learning communities to be investigated should be active in at least one of the three following contexts: Energy Transition & Sustainability, Health & Care or ICT.

Energie-investeringsaftrek (EIA)

Does your company invest in energy-efficient techniques and sustainable energy? And do you want to achieve a tax benefit? In that case, make use of the Energy Investment Allowance (EIA). This arrangement gives you an average 11% advantage. In addition, energy-efficient investments ensure a lower energy bill. There is a budget of € 147 million for 2020.

KIEM GoChem
Type of scheme: subsidy

Innovation in the chemical sector can contribute to making society more sustainable, CO2 reduction and the growth of the circular economy. SMEs can play an important role in this and knowledge institutions have a lot to offer in this area. However, these parties are not always able to find each other. GoChem wants to improve this. The GoChem program supports SMEs in the broad chemical and chemical processing industries with green innovation.

LIFE: Europese natuur-, milieu- en klimaatprojecten

LIFE is a subsidy program of the European Union. The aim is to support innovative projects that fit into European nature, environment and climate policy. They must further develop or put the policy into practice. Any organization in the EU can participate. From large and small companies to governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

With the Green Projects Scheme, the government stimulates green investments in the latest developments in environmental technology, the circular economy and sustainable and innovative (construction) projects. This requires collaboration between investors, banks and project managers.

Stimuleringsregeling Duurzame Energie (SDE+)

Are you going to produce renewable energy? Then you can make use of the subsidy for Stimulating Sustainable Energy Production (SDE +). This scheme focuses on companies and (non-profit) institutions. There are 6 categories: biomass, geothermal, water, wind (land, lake and flood defense) and sun. The offshore wind energy category has its own budget and a separate application procedure.

Stimuleringsregeling Duurzame Energie (SDE++)

In accordance with the Coalition Agreement, the SDE + will be expanded to SDE ++ in 2020, so that, in addition to sustainable energy, CO2-reducing techniques are also eligible for subsidy. In principle, this also applies to greenhouse gases other than CO2, such as methane. The good elements of the SDE + are retained and it will be possible to achieve the climate target in 2030 cost-efficiently.

MOOI scheme

Focused on application with an eye for technical, social and other factors that increase the chances of success? Then the Mission-Driven Research, Development and Innovation (MOOI) scheme can offer support. Scheme opens on April 1st, 2022.

Demonstratie Energie- en Klimaatinnovatie (DEI+) 2020
Type of scheme: subsidy

Do you want to use less energy in your production process? Do you have an innovative technique that achieves CO2 emission reduction? Do you invest in renewable energy sources, such as wind energy, solar energy and geothermal energy? Then you can apply for a subsidy for pilot projects and demonstration projects within the DEI + scheme.
