In the latest funding round, 15 research projects have been awarded funding.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, the programme was fully aligned with the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda (KIA) Circular Chemistry and Materials. The selected proposals closely matched the three focus areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chemistry for the circular economy<\/li>\n<li>Circular chemistry for the energy transition<\/li>\n<li>Circular chemistry for strategic autonomy and resilience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The assessment committee was generally very positive about the quality of the proposals submitted by universities of applied sciences. It also noted the growing interest in KIEM GoChem among research universities and NWO institutes, as well as the increasing number of industry partners and their strong involvement in the projects.<\/p>\n<p>These projects were selected during the first KIEM GoChem 2026 application round.
