Researchers and companies can submit applications until\u00a0September 16, 2025, 14:00\u00a0for innovation projects in three crucial themes for a sustainable future.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Water Quality and Monitoring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Innovations aimed at improving water quality are essential for a sustainable future. Research proposals can focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sustainable separation techniques that use little energy and chemicals<\/li>\n<li>Industrial process optimization to minimize waste streams<\/li>\n<li>Advanced sensor technologies for better monitoring of water flows<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To combat climate change, there is an urgent need for technologies that can capture CO\u2082 and convert it into valuable products. Proposals can focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Innovative technologies for efficient CO\u2082 capture<\/li>\n<li>New methods to convert captured CO\u2082 into valuable products<\/li>\n<li>Integration of CCU technologies with renewable energy sources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Biobased Raw Materials for Circular Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This call stimulates research into the conversion of biobased raw materials into sustainable biobased chemicals for materials. Research proposals can focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conversion of biomass into platform chemicals and specialty chemicals<\/li>\n<li>Development of building blocks for sustainable biobased materials<\/li>\n<li>Innovative processes for processing first and second generation biobased raw materials (with preference for second generation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Young researchers and SMEs: seize your opportunity!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The TKI specifically encourages young researchers and SMEs to submit applications.
