Three student teams took part in the Dutch finals of the Biobased Innovation Student Challenge – Europe (BISC-E), organised by Avans University of Applied Sciences and HZ University of Applied Sciences. A competition in which they presented their innovative ideas for the biobased economy to an expert jury, which included Peter Berben.<\/p>\n

The teams competed for a ticket to the European final of the challenge, organised by the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC). This final will take place in September.<\/p>\n

The winner of the national final is the Biomeiler 2.0 team, a group of talented students from Utrecht University. With their idea and determination, they have earned a place in the European final.
