20 April 2023: CoE BBE Lunch & Learn lecture – Pyrolysis

Every 2-week we update everyone who is interested on specific themes from the materials and energy transition. During the lunch lectures, each time on a Thursday afternoon from 12:15 to 13:00, you follow presentations from experts or slide to a broad discussion on a topic. Walk in or follow online!

When:
Thursday 20 April 2023 from 12:15 to 13:00

Topic:
Pyrolysis – Qian Zhou – Lectorate Biobased Resources & Energy
Epoxy thermosets are widely used in coatings, adhesives and structural applications. In the Raak-pro project Totally Nuts, we want to develop sustainable and economically viable biobased epoxy thermosets and composites using cashew nut remnants as raw material. This interdisciplinary project brings together expertise from chemical engineering, polymer chemistry and polymer composites. The successful outcome of this project will serve as a catalyst for the development of sustainable solutions in the thermosetting industry, while also contributing to the sustainable use of cashew nut residues.

Where:
Breda, Avans UAS, LD222 & via TEAMS
