14 October 2021: Nanotechnology Crossing Borders 2021

Do you want to boost your knowledge on Nanotechnology? During this year’s Nanotechnology Crossing Borders symposium, we will focus on three applications of nanomaterials that contribute to the transition from fossil fuels to sustainable energy: light-powered chemical reactions and processes, innovative battery materials and concepts, and optical coatings and films for energy efficient buildings. Check out the complete online programme and register now!

We encourage students from universities and universities of applied sciences, and PhD researchers to present their work in form of a poster. An international jury will select the three best posters for a poster award of 250 € (1st place), 150 € (2nd place) and 100 € (3rd place). Participation is free of charge. Nonetheless, registration is required. In previous editions, more than 150 students, university researchers and industrial researchers participated in the symposium.

The Nanotechnology Crossing Borders symposia are organized by Hasselt University, TNO, Brightlands Materials Center and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. It’s an event where science meets industry and is organized every year in autumn.
